PORPHYRIA

This Screenplay served as a practice coursework task my AS Level English Language and Literature course, which involved taking a classic text and transforming it into a new format.

I chose Robert Browning's 'Porphyria's Lover' (1836) and rewrote the poem as a screenplay. The script has little-to-no dialogue, instead utilising cinematography and editing techniques to carry the narrative and giving an unnerving tone to the film, a characteristic the original poem definitely possesses.

This project will hopefully be brought to life in the near future and so, when I can, I gather prinicipal photography on suitable locations.
