Haraam is a story of unrequited love, the unique, painful and tragically common human experience that actually has a place in writer/director Serge Rashidi Zakuani's (SRZ) heart.

​

Set in London, a group of young and diverse retail workers must retrieve a customer's lost item, but beneath this lies a deeper journey, one that explores passion and heartbreak, and that celebrates the elements of society that unite us rather than divide us.

​

I was fortunate enough to be a still photographer on the set, gaining an insight into the extraordinary hard work that SRZ and his team put into this bittersweet film.
